***YOU MUST HAVE CLOJURE EXPERIENCE***
We are seeking a Data Engineer with a passion for solving complex problems through data engineering.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement robust data pipelines using Clojure and Java libraries to manage data ingestion, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

  • Workflow Orchestration: Utilize Apache Airflow to automate and manage data workflows, ensuring seamless integration and operation.

  • Cloud Management: Leverage Azure for cloud infrastructure, using *Docker* for containerization, *Terraform* for infrastructure as code, and *Helm* for managing Kubernetes charts to deploy, manage, and scale our applications.

  • Data Modeling: Develop and maintain *PowerBI Models* for advanced data visualization and analytics.

  • System Optimization: Enhance system performance through optimization of ETL processes and data modeling.

  • Scripting: Employ *Python* for scripting and auxiliary tasks to support data engineering activities.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
  • Skills & Qualifications:
    Proven Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a data engineering role with a focus on big data technologies.
    Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Clojure and Java

  • Strong experience with Apache Airflow, Azure, Docker, Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes

  • Expertise in ETL processes and data modeling

  • Familiarity with PowerBI for data visualization

  • Competent in Python

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
