Description
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training & Certification (AWS Tech U) team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the design and development of AI focused technical training programs.
The ideal candidate will require a unique blend of technical expertise, instructional design skills, and AI capabilities to create innovative and effective learning solutions for complex technical subjects while ensuring responsible and ethical use of AI technologies
In this role, with your passion for developing others, you will deliver a defined curriculum program for Amazon hires on their journey to become cloud IT professionals.
This multi-modal training program (AWS Tech U) combines instructor led training, lab exercises, scenario-based project sprints, and more to develop and hone cloud based and professional developments skills.

In this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator, and it is expected that you will have the ability to work well with peers and learners while using AWS tools and resources.
Key job responsibilities
• Design and develop comprehensive technical learning architectures that integrate generative AI tools and traditional learning methodologies to create adaptive, personalized learning paths while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Leverage AI technologies to generate and customize learning content at scale, create intelligent learning pathways based on learner performance and preferences, develop AI-powered assessment tools and automated feedback systems, implement conversational AI tutors and learning assistants, and automate content localization and adaptation.
• Evaluate and implement AI-powered learning analytics to track learner progress and engagement, identify knowledge gaps and learning patterns, predict learner outcomes, generate automated performance insights, and provide data-driven recommendations for curriculum improvements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to define AI-augmented content creation workflows, establish quality control processes for AI-generated content, and ensure technical accuracy and learning effectiveness.
• Design and implement hybrid learning experiences that combine AI-powered adaptive learning, traditional instructor-led training, virtual labs and simulations, peer learning opportunities, and automated assessment and feedback.
• Lead innovation in learning technology by evaluating emerging AI tools and platforms, piloting new AI-enabled learning experiences, measuring the effectiveness of AI-powered solutions, and sharing best practices and learnings

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Associate level certification or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
